Yes it does.....I think I'll try the 7 day trial.

Note that if you have an Invidia brand card, you can try the NV version with a 14 day trial (both have the same features it would appear).

I wonder if it has to be an invidia-made card, or just one with an invidia graphics chip? (my geforce-2 card has such a chip).

OOPS. Nevermind. They require DSL speeds (minimum internet speed = 128k), so I guess I'm out. Lemme know how it goes if you try it.

On a similar note, google.maps now offers detailed satalite images.

So I can't spell :-P

Ariel --> http://www.gutenberg.org/dirs/etext97/1ws4110.txt (drat, no direct linking anymore)

Now what's that about? When I went to maps.google I only saw, uh, maps, lol.

Fair cop, I did a google image search to find a generic example of aerial photography to punctuate my post. You won't find that pic on maps.google (though there might be mermaids to be found somewhere on the sat images [:P]).

And on the subject of spelling, I was quite disappointed by the <a href="http://forum.mtm2.com/viewtopic.php?t=3524">use</a> of <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=vehical">"Vehical"</a> the other week too :P

edit: Of course don't take my criticism too seriously, I'm just having a bit of fun. English gets us all from time to time eh. Anticlockwise :D

I think I'd prefer Ariel, although I still haven't figured out what I would do with the fishy parts below the waist (fertilizing layed eggs is not my preference...) [:P]

I've frequented this site many times...

http://www.spaceimaging.com/

Their free photos are more like 3 feet resolution versus the 1-foot res of the subscription Keyhole shots, but they are detailed enough for me.

Button is kind of hidden in the upper right to switch between maps.

Here is another good program, but you need lots of bandwidth and diskspace.

I've tried it now. What a piece of garbage. Nice idea but poorly executed. I couldn't even get the program to run, and the site is a waste of time. I sent a note telling them what I thought. Thanks, but no thanks. Too bad, too, because this sort of thing could be a lot of fun. Instead, it's just trash.

Google is at it again.

http://earth.google.com/index.html

It is "keyhole powered" but seems to run fine for me.

Still can't really zoom in much more than this, and the whole region I'm in has patchy color, but over all I'd have to say much improved.

PS. Still a bit blurry in some spots

which, of course, has nothing to do with ...

Try the "directions" feature, then hit the "play" button. It flys you along the route about 1000 feet up.
