Post by KidKrazy86 »

Hello MTMers.

My name is Matt and I'm new to this forum. I'm am not however new to the Monster truck world or the MTM world. I've followed monster trucks for over 19 years and played MTM since the beginning. I ussually spend most of my days working, I work for Raymour and Flanigan(Northeast furniture stores) as a warehouse supervisor. When not working I play paintball. I love metal music, but i do have a soft side.

thank you for your time. I look forward to meeting all of you.

Welcome to the site. Don't know your main interest (racing, rumbles, drags, truck or track making) but you'll find a bit of it all around here. Always glad to see new mtmers, even if they have been around a while.

Over the past few years i have fought with trying to make my own tracks and trucks, but i never had any luck. I love the drag tracks.
I try to download the most realistic tracks and trucks i can find. I would like to applaud those who do such great work on the events and monsters we have to race with today.

well it seems lately that alot of draggers are quitting because they say ppl take it to serious and stuff like that. i think its kinda dumb they quit cause of that but w.e floats their boat i guess. dragger community could use a few more, league attendance has been low in some places. we could use some more, i know circuit ppl have a good amount of racers, so if you want to get into dragging, PLZ come lol

if someone wants to learn the basics of racing, contact me on AIM at UserSlay212....ill start a game to see if u can join ect..then show ya some other stuff, i did that with Jrfan some and look at him now :P

I've been having graphics problems with my computer. I need to buy a new card. I've tried online racing before but my computers kinda old and won't allow it. I'm not technically advanced when it comes to repairs to it.

more then likely it's not a computer issue my computer is 9 years old and runs on dial up still and I race all the time run my own league and have a lot of fun. If you need anything give me a hollar at DaveTheSmasher on AIM.

I'm a fan of both drags and circuits obtw I really need to come out and run the shadow princess league that I see it looks like a lot of fun and I need a change a pace from the drags all the time.

I think it's cool how old this game is yet we still get some new guys that come around, makes me kinda proud.

The game is old as dirt, but as long as there guys around with new and fresh ideas, it will live on, welcome aboard.

agreed mr. muhs I personaly don't think this game will ever die out untill the new super computers will not support it anymore. I'm only a year and 4 months into the addons and all the goodies that come with it but I gotta agree to still see new people come in is awsome. The game's still popular saw it on ebay the other day with like 5 bids and it was near $60.00 already if my memory serves correct. Maybe some more new ppl on the way he he.

The game will be gone, along with nearly every Zone game, when Windows Vista comes out which well have very little backwards compatability. Only games made for the NT systems will still run. Old games that are still being updated (IE Worms Armageddon) will likely recieve patches. But ancient games such as MTM2 will be lost.

its hard to explain about what goes wrong with my computer. When I play any game it runs for about a minute or two then it almost completely freezes for about another minute, it does that every two minutes. Sometimes it run in like a very slow motion.

What are some of your favorite pc games that anyone plays?

What speed is the processor in your computer?
How much memory do you have?
What kind of graphics card?
What else is running in the background?
Have you used adaware and spybot to eliminate spyware programs?
Have you deleted temp files.

There are a lot of reasons computers run slow. Very few are actually the computer.
