why do they paint cars in a monster truck show

Post by canadiancatgreen »

hi just wondering if anyone knows why they pant the crush cars in a monster truck show. I think it was beter when they just put the cars as is from the junkyard.

what I mean by "as is" is if they use a blue Ford a red Chevy a brown Oldmobile a reen Buick a black Honda and a Gray Honda. these cars would be those colours in the show

It makes for a more "eye appealing" track. And so tracks don't look like a junkyard. Gives them more of a professional feel. And nowdays, they point the front of the cars, tward the closest audiance side, so it appears as the cars are driving tward you. Just some facts from a USHRA track crew member. :-)

ok i understand that but i guess i thought it looked better in the as is junkyard style. It makes sense to point all the cars in a set in one direction. also just wondering what is the most poular make and mode of car used in a show?
Thank You
