8500 rpms

they say that with your truck out of gear you should get 8500 rpms i can't get any truck i drive to go past 7900 or8000 rpms any idea how to get more rpms out of my truck

gamepads, jostick sand steering wheels do that. Npot sure how to fix it , my gamepad does that in digi mode but not in stick mode, i cant figure it out either, id like to know though.

BTW, if your keyboard is doing that, thats weired

For me, recalibrating in the windows control panel > game controllers fixed it up.

or run it on Pro difficulty

always run in pro mode tryed windows still not enough only 8000 rpms have logitech momo manual shift and ge force 5500 grafics card

Try recalibrating within the game as well?

Logitech controllers usually bundle a software application that lets you create profiles with game actions programmed to buttons and axes. Are you running that when you play the game? If so, it might be causing problems?

Yes, but only after doing it in windows. Without the windows re-cal it wasn't enough.

Have you recently changed to a new controler? or have you always used the same one and just recently discovered the lack of rpm's?

what happens if you switch to 'keyboard' control within the game? do you get 8500 rpm's or is it the same?

id like to point out that if you have the "proper" drivers installed for your controller, you shouldn't have a calibrate button in windows (unless its a serial plug)

I found out that my digi pad didnt get 8500 RPM's cause the "sensitivity" in mtm2 was set to low, whe i brought it right up (not sure which direction) it worked fine. but it made it impossible to drive in stick mode lol.

But maybe try that.

same controller but i do get 8500 rpms on the keyboard setting but i can't drive with the keyboard and i dont know what digi mode is

I'm a bit confused. Are you playing with a wheel ? If so, open up the pedals and remove the dust in there. I do that every 3 months.

digi mode is a feature on gamepads that have sticks on them, if you set to digi mode, the stick is now the POV switch and the pad is now the axis. Otherwise, the pad is the POV and the stick is the axis.

I switch them if I am rumbling, I like the digital instant controls. You should see how easy it is to power slide with digi controls lol

good call old mumbra a piece of pop corn that one of my grandkids stuck in the gap around the pedal simple this time. slayer i can do a pretty good power slide with my manual shifter too as you come into the corner down shift and floor it and it will slide in a complete circle if you hold the wheel long enough
