Vertex Groups- Deleting?

Well guys I have run into a sort of a problem. I am in the middle of finishing up a truck i started working with, but the vertex groups box has become wayyy to cluttered. It now takes about 5-10 seconds just to open up the darn thing. Is there an easy way to delete all of the vertex groups in there without clicking each item one by one?

Click the first group name, hold down the Shift key and click the last name to select/highlight all, then hit delete.

Or hold the Ctrl key down and select individualy.
