Umm, no.
What's the conversion? 256 units is a foot?
That would make each unit <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=1foot%2F256+in+inches&btnG=Search">5 hundredths of an inch</a>.

togera, I'm guessing you're asking could we have metric units of measurement added to BinEdit?

That would be nice, but I don't think there are any current development plans for BinEdit at the moment, so we probably won't see an update anytime soon. But I'm sure someone will take notice if an update does get underway. For now, we'll just have to convert manually.

As CH says, vertex coordinates in MTM2 bins are specified such that 256 units = 1 foot.

It follows then that 256 units = 30.48 centimeters or 0.3048 metres.
Therefore 1 unit = 1.19 millimetres and 1 metre = 840 units.
