Connection Problems?

Hey guys. ive need help with a problem involving MTM2 connection. I posted this on the draggers board and did everything they told me and it didnt work.

The Story: I was playing on 2 computers in the same house with my friend and the connection just went off. that was last summer and mtm2 connection hasnt worked since

What Ive Tried: So, ive turned off my virus programs, I opened the ports I was told to open, i enabled DMZ (whatever that may be lol) and i turned off all firewalls

ANY SUGGESTIONS :?:

What operating system, what router (if any)

This page is obsolete (as far as the zone is concerned) but half way down are some trouble shooting notes that may be helpful (that's why I haven't deleted the page).

Messenging programs like yahoo, msn, aim can block ports too.

Im using XP on my main computer and vista on the one my friend used.
The router is a Dlink something (has a 35 in there somewhere lol)
