Racing Tracks

Is it possible to race trucks like the real trucks in mtm2? That would be awesome. Thanks :)

Well, what I mean is like the Penda drags track, the trucks dont race you they just drive away. Is it possible to make them competitive?

I don't think so, the trucks are designed to follow a path to checkpoints, and since these tracks go on forever and have no checkpoints I don't think they can be made competitive.

If you'd like to play online, however, then you might like to check out this site

Or drop in rengames any time in the very late night/early morning hours and look up the MOD team. They do drag and freestyle all the time.

Back in the day the computer trucks followed their paths on my RCA Jam track, but now these days with everyone running mtm2 on max graphics, they just hit the hill and flip. Still kicking around the idea of a 2.0, as much as I hate sequels, I went through the other night and tweaked the course so the computer trucks are more competitive.

Honestly, a straight line drag would not be hard to configure. Just two checkpoints, one for the start and one for the finish. It would be boring as hell though.

TNT 3 Truck Jam is a working straight line drag... I'm sure there's lots of others out there.
