Texarkana Alpha

Post by Bigfoot_Power_Wheels »

Texarkana is a place that is half in Texas and half in Arkansas. It is also the name of this rally I havent worked on since february...so I decided to release it as an alpha (or maybe a pre-pre-alpha at best) since it is just collecting dust anyway.

The track isnt finished. In fact, it consists of three different pieces of unconnected track. I added some crudely placed signs to help you navigate it.

This track is rough in every sense, its not even remotely finished. Im a little embarrassed to even release it, the scenery will be hopefully VERY elaborate by the end, i just wanted you to have a sense of the track itself.

I tried to have this track emphasize big air and creative use of models. The music will, in the end, probably be this, which is very appropriate:

I havent touched this track, or even this game, in months thanks to SATs and final exams and I just thought Id give you guys something to chew on...its not like any of us have anything better to do.

SIDE NOTE: On Wednesday, July 2, 2008, a bewildered rookie with a hastily chosen screen name, BF_Power_Wheels, aimlessly meandered into the MTM2 tourney room at an, um, "unnamed" game site. The point being, that July 2 is the 1 year anniversary of me being here. So, thanks for the hospitality this past year, and special thanks to SLO-n0ct for being my blocker on that day a year ago.

I'm definitively trying this one. PS, you can always use TrackViewGL for your screenshots.
