Hmm...............

Post by Bouncywheels11 »

Well, these forums are a bit more active than last time I visited! [(-:]

Which was.. I believe... In early 2008...?

Youch, I've been away for quite sometime.. Hehe.
Finally got high-speed internet and and got a new computer, so I'm having a blast.

Anyways, I've thought of this forum a lot over the 2 years I've been absent, but never bothered to visit, now I did, though. :)

I'm fine, btw, and will try to visit this forum a lot more often now.
And now that I have the MTM2 CD, I'll participate in some tournaments. :D

Feel free to welcome me back, or not... ^^ :P

Thanks, Roadknight. :)

Thanks, Jammer, also. ;)

I know about the tournaments thing, and was going to join today, but I realized I was too late, forgot it was at 4:00PM here. :P

I'll hopefully be seein' you guys. :)

P.S. I can't find ANYthing on Google, so I was wondering, did Microsoft ever even consider MTM3? [umm]

I never asked any MTM2 fans this question, so I don't know. ;)
See ya!

Well, the equivalents anyways. They took awesome 1600 HP monsters, and substituted them with SUV's. I guess TR thought the game would be more insteresting if players drove the same off roaders that their mothers drive.

4x4 Evolution was TRI's next game after MTM2, feels like the same game engine just improved, and improved graphics, and switching from monster trucks over to Pickups and SUV's.

I know die-hard monster truck fans don't like to hear that, but it's nice to game on both platforms (MTM2 and 4x4 Evo).

They share many textures and base track types.

And most MTM2 pod tracks work just fine in 4x4 Evolution without modifications needed. Only ones that won't work are ones that have wacky animated stuff... lol

That's not all; MTM1 tracks doesn't display checkpoint banners properly, custom backdrops are not shown, only few ground boxes will appear on mtm2 tracks and AI trucks won't work.

By the way, years ago I downloaded a conversion pack, mtm2 stock tucks to evo format, I have been trying to find it with no luck. Do you know anything about that Jam?

Hmm.. It's a shame you didn't know about that when Google had their 2001 search page, might have found it then.

Try some olld MTM2 site on archive.org and see if it's there, and then maybe check the site NOW, and maybe it'll still be there..?

Anyway, yes, I'm still around. I haven't been too active as I had hoped, though.. ;)
