i came across this image on Monstertruckcollectors.com
and it sort of looked odd to me.
i'm wondering if maybe Kmaster or Phineus has anymore information on it.

This looks to be different from the one I found a couple years ago. Same idea, though it doesn't hold much appeal. You can get it free right here.

TRA ... >

I think these guys fail to understand what makes this game what it is.

Not only did this one take the pod files but it also used Oliver Pieper's Trackview shots and Caveman's reviews.
I remember the controversy over this back in the days of mtm1. What was interesting is there was a consortium of different prominent players in the game who had something to do with helping out the company who packaged and sold the cd in stores. Many people didn't agree with it b/c people were making money on it, including those who helped them out if i remember correctly. I personally kind of liked the idea for only one reason, I was hoping it would bring in more players. I seem to remember track makers being asked if it was ok to include their track on the cd, however they were not to get paid for their efforts. It kinda *beep* me off because If I remember this correctly there was a person involved that has been trying to make money off this game since the beginning of it all.
I remember i saw this trak-pak on ebay. I might give it a try.
EDIT: There's some tracks in the track pack CD not available in the MTM2.com track repository..., and the tracks included in the CD are "MTM1-podzipped" to avoid copyright infringement. Weird.
I remember that. Had a few guys try to get me on thier side. I backed away, because I believe we do what we do, all in good faith, don't try to make money off of us.
I disagreed with it, and imo, I saw the some of the contents, which is another reason I had no opinion on it, cuz the tracks they chose quite frankly sucked. Bad taste... kinda reminds me of someone else that used to charge for a cd of our work...

I didn't look that closely at it. Just got the cd, ripped it, and posted the iso. I figured it was a fair turn, eh? Anyway, got any names? I can post them to the right place if you think they're worth it. There's trucks on there too if I recall but I didn't check them against the truck o rama.

*city slickers (there's a track called city slickers in mtm2.com but is not the same as in the trackpack cd, the track is actually called the city in the SIT file and mtm2.com, but there's 2 tracks called "the city" in mtm2.com and they look identical..?!)
