I m aware that there was a huge server data loss that resulted in shutting down of the MTM2 site for a while.
But have we lost all the earlier posts here?

All the posts between April 2011 and up until the server crash, yes.

We lost a pretty big chunk of MTM2 knowledge.

Yes that's also right. Majority of the 'knowledgeable' posts were made before 2011
