So you could get in games before and see others? and then all of a sudden Saturday it went like this? Does it make a difference if You host and not someone else?
Sounds like a connection issue to me with the little you have said not something with the game.

I have had this happen to me before. What I found was;
In MTM it seems to happen if you have a number of people in a connection.
Once multiplayer is reached all gamers need to sit and not touch anything, until all the required number of gamers that the host launched with are in multiplayer.
Once ALL are in multiplayer, then everyone can reclick, change settings etc.
If the above does not happen, and gamers are not patient, AVs (access violations) seem to be more prominent for some.
Patience is the key with this old game at times.
If I have not seen some players, i have told them in multiplayer that i could not see some, would leave and come back in IP, usually then I see all.
However everyone needs of course to reclick for all the connections to mesh together in the game.
If anyone else has some more or different experiences with this problem, I am sure they will post here for you.

Yeah at times when I connect, I have to wait for game to pop-up after a minute or I'll get some kind of access vio.ShadowPrincess wrote:I have had this happen to me before. What I found was;

If the game worked one day but not the next, then it is very probably a port-related issue. If the ip has not changed, or at least the change has been accounted for, then the next place to look is firewalls. Assuming that's not the case, then the next place to look is background processes - you know, a program that was not running before but is now. For example, Yahoo messenger was notorious for allowing you to join but not host. The trick now is to figure out which program is the cause of the problem. Use CTRL+ALT+DEL and go through the list and terminate anything that does not need to be running. You can also use adaware, spybot etc to help weed out the trouble makers.
