POD, BIN ETC IN OTHER GAMES AND TOMB RAIDER THOGHT ON LEVELS

Post by SIG »

Is there any other games which use *.bin or *.pod format?
Is there any other games which have models which can be converted?
Does tomb raider use the same concept as mtm as the levels are made of squares and there are things like ground boxes(loads in india and london and the ufo is made of them) and there are animated textures (madabu gorge rapids) and animated bins (mud pits, rolling blades and people)?

Well I believe .bin and .pod is a TRI thing so no other games have that format... I'm sure you can convert models from other games tho Image

There is always a way... as long as the game is "editable" I believe. Image

It is more then likely... most games and all 3d editors use Squares for terrein... It's a computer thing... Ground boxes maybe... I think in Zelda 64 and Donky Kong 64 they use those too Image

Yep, at least Hellbender, Terminal Velocity (I think), mtm and mtm2, some Fly! (bins but not pod files) Nocturne definitely does not.
