My MTM2 directory has nowt a Tourney folder in it. Why yours should I don't know.

If I recall correctly (and that's a big if!), MTM1 had a Tourney folder which was used for the storing of custom-made tournaments (where you defined a series of tracks to race, scoring points for each to determine your final placing). MTM2 does not have this game mode, so I don't know where your folder could have come from nor what purpose it might serve. Something you downloaded perhaps?

Didn't someone (MDMRE?) make a utility that automatically creates all the folders that are used in editing and such for MTM 1? Seem to remember it & that it wasn't clearly marked for use with 1 or 2. Not that it's a problem since it simply created empty folders in the MTM directly.

Any of this sound like it could be the cause?

DOH!
Just read your last reply again & think it may be a .zip that had the remember path box checked when it was created. That would do it.
