SIT File Editation

Post by SIGage »

I've seen a list showing every item in a track's SIT file showing what all the things do but I can't find it. Was I dreaming or does this document exist?
I resorted to experimenting with Cucumber Chaos (which ,by the way, has checkpoints now) and I haven't had any luck. I edited these lines:

Race Track Locale
SIGage's Kitchen UK
-This doesn't do anything

Track Fly-By .AVI file
Soad2.avi
-I expected it to show the avi file before the race but... nope

stageComFlag, bonusLapFlag
0,1
-Possibly a victory lap setting? Nothing

What parts of the file actually do anything?

I found how to edit the course width. This means I can make the trucks stay right on the racing line or be able to meander a bit. This works great as the trucks drive right through the wallpaper tube without going up the edge but have a large 'error' area after jumping from the ironing board.

Simple enough to do. Look for a line:

&cSpeedLimit,cTrackWidth
0.000000,16.000000

The '16.000000' is the width in which the truck can drive. If there is a tunnel or a narrow jump use a lower number. If there is a large area suitable for overtaking use a larger number.
