for those of you that don't know, this track is completely submerged under water and i was wondering what would happen if i tried running it in the snow, would i be trapped in ice unable to move? or would it crash mtm? the answer is yes, no and kinda sorta...

at first the the view is like the upper right shot, you are unable to move and the view is from under the truck, my guess is that i am frozen in the ice but the game is unable to process that info to the screen, (but it tries)...
to break free i clicked in chase far view typed in the gold mode, panned as far back as it would go then panned up, then the truck seemed to just "pop" out of the ice sending me flying up in the air lol

pretty cool stuff, so if your bored you may want to give it a try.

finished the A's onto the B's

Mal, you crack me up. I've often thought of places and situations that I imagined would pose conflicts in the game, but I never followed through on them just to see what would happen, lol. I'm going to snatch that top right pic from you for the rofls.

finsihed the Z's (obviously) and on to the first request.

Another thing I discovered was that if you put a 2D model next to a ground box (solid part facing box) then drive up to it, it sucks you into the box. if you drive out real slow, you will fly extremely high into the air. I was going to incorporate this into a rumble a year or two ago, but never got to it. You can see this kind of thing in the hidden parts on Obe's Warehouse and Gone Fishin'.

Hey well have u tried this....

Get ran over by the train but when it hits you reverse into it and dont stop. Eventually you will be flung up in the air real high. I'll try and get a scn shot in a dar or 2. My brother skidmark found this out a while ago but i enjoyed it. Perhaps there is some relation between obeones *bug*

My bro found this out in the scrapyard.

I've also foudn out another thing. Way back when i had the demo of MTM2 i was really trying to get a train to run over a cow in FM29 in the nite time. Once i finally got it there the train just drove right through it making a really weird graphical effect.

Guess i still love that cow/nite thing - never really got over smashing the two cows over and over again *LOL*

I have some really weird in-game shots to show, please check out:
<big><a href=http://phobos.spaceports.com/~tracks4u/madness/madness.htm>Metal Crush Madness</a></big>

The page contains 603kb of screenshots (ten of them), then a short explanation and a track pod download. The effect in real-time is quite a trip.

Hehe, thanks. I just changed #8 and gave them all titles. 2 is my favorite, 3, 5 and 6 are nifty too.

Yes, Taking the truck out of an arena is fun Image Never thought of dedicating a webpage to it tho Image Very nice.
When ever a truck is underground (or under ice) the camera moves into the center of the truck and you can see the inside of the truck Image very cool with a detailed fiberglass truck with frame and engine Image
