Computer-trucks in LAN multiplay?

Post by rocketalces »

Hi folks
I think I read once somewhere that it is possible to add computer driven trucks in a multiplayer game in order to get a full 8 truck grid.
If this is true, how do you do it?

Nope, you can't.

In MTM1 you could, so that may have been what you remember someone referring to. Some tracks were designed to take advantage of that feature, like Criss Cross Crash, where dodging the comp trucks was critical.

I was also confused because the display names ('N'-key) specifies whether the truck is computer driven, which is pretty useless when you cannot have a mixed field.
Anyway, many thanks MIYH for solving this mystery.

I only find it useless when playing against 100% comp trucks.....it comes in handy when competing with other players, because it tells you who is driving what truck.....
