I have thought of making a program (aka adding a function to c-pod) that would make a large map of a track by using all the texture data. Think i ought to? It would be possible (not easy) to make it draw it under my current track viewer thingy.
Think i ought to consider it?

Plus whats the best way to get an average color? Average of r,g, and b?

Fantastic work there Wint :o)
this method gives an unmatched view of the entire track, I love it .

CH if you could tweak c-pod to pull up a view like this does I think it would be very beneficial since Winterkills method requires 4x4 evo to be installed and the editor (tracked3)... as far as determining color averages go I don't know.

Thanks Mal, excellent use of your minimap. Unmatched? only until OP drops the mother of all bombs on us. ;-)

I hesitate to make work for anyone, but if the experience would benefit you and you'd enjoy it then have at it. But, OP is updating TrackView just now, and it's capable of a bird's eye view of a track, textured and in 3D, so you might wait until you see that. As for color averages, I dunno, and I can't really say that TRI did it how I stated, they may have merely picked the dominant color.

I decided to capture Farm Road 29 and Crazy 98 just to compare to the scale of the tracks presented on the webpage, man do they look small.
