Making a Truck

Post by drdre_37 »

Is anyone willing to make a custom truck for me? It wouldn't be hard work, but im not sure what I could do in return, because all I can do is make rookie tracks haha. Would anyone be willing to make a custom truck fo nothing in return, just asking? If you are please send an e-mail with "MTM2 Truck" in the subject box and I will e-mail you with what I want on the truck.
Thanx

You might have more chance of a response if you give some idea of what you have in mind, such as a repaint of an existing truck, a small customization of an existing truck, a truck assembled from existing scrapyard parts adn bodies, or something totally custom built (which is by no means easily done). Truck requests are seldom taken unless you can inspire a maker, since so many already exist.

I should add that e-mail responses don't get done. The forum is here so everybody can benefit from the information here. Replying in private defeats the purpose of helpful sharing for all.

Not everyone takes requests, or likes doing things for everyone else either. Oops, that's just me, lol.

BUT... we are more than happy to show you how to do it yourself, after all, you've come to the right place. That's what this forum is for. Head over to the "Truck Making" section of this site, and start asking questions. You'll get all the help you can handle. I personally don't like doing things for others, cuz in the past, it's always turned out to be one thing. Then it's always, "hey, as long as you're at it..." Give an inch, they take a mile... sort of thing. Besides, wouldn't you be more happy with knowing how it's all done? It's not really that hard, with some great guidance, and a little know how. Then you could do whatever you wanted, when you wanted to do it.

I've always wondered why you wanted people to email you back, when you post here too, lol. But that's ok, but like Phin said, that's what we're here for, not to email, but to share knowledge.

Ok, ok, well... I have a band that I like and I have a bmp. file that I would like to use on the truck. The truck would have to be black and probably like a repaint of an existing truck. I like the Grave Digger Truck so I would like that body. I could send the bmp. for the truck for whoever would like to do the truck.

Send it over to me, and I'll make you a black band-truck from digger...nothing too fancy.....

I don't do requests often, but I have some pre-made parts I can slap together...

If anyone can make this truck, this is how I would like it to be with these changes:
-No monster in truck hahaha
-Black tires with white rims
-SD on licensce plate
-Red Grave Digger lights
-"Super Beast" for what Army Armstrong says.
Hope that's not to much...
Thanx

WOOF! sheshesheshesheshe (snivels like Muttley from the Wacky Races)

Just want to let you know, if you leave that STICKDEATH.COM on the side of the truck, then it can't be uploaded to Vales/mtm2...

....KC's site has a family-oriented rating, and I was given an ENLARGE YOUR *beep* popup from the "stick" site....LMAO!

Nice looking paint tho...should make a good custom monster....should be easy to create starting with a currently-existing bigfoot paintjob.

Hey kitty...here's a game you can link to on your site...it's called CATS (wink wink)

Don't worry...it's not cruel to felines...it's a memory game.

I made a truck but when I start up MTM2, I can't find it. Does anyone know why. I have the pod with the rest of my pods, and the rest of the files are where they should be. Please help.

Did you place it in yur game correctly, as you would with any downloaded track or truck?

If so...

Download a copy of Winzip or some other zip archiver, zip-up your truck POD, and email it to me...I'll take a look at it
