Something about PODium

Post by SolarDog »

Try podding the Borg Assimilation track by World . When I mount it it shows up as just a "1" and shows its status as not found instead of mounted. The pod is named 1Borg. This might be a bug I dont know

What happens if you change the name of the POD?

Yea I tried that and it works but I wonder why having the 1 in front of the name messes it up? If I change the name of the pod will it effect online play? will people get the different version track message I wonder?

The not found message is caused from the pod not being in the mtm2 folder. No big deal, just ignore it. On the other hand, I've been afraid to hit the "clear" button for the chance it might delete those from the pod.ini file.

But the news gets sadder. Podium 1.2 is buggy - and seriously so. I'm afraid that I can no longer recommend it's use and have already removed it from the mtmg utility page. Moreover, I will not be putting it back unless I can see a properly functioning version.

------

On the conflict problem, I can only suggest we try it. I think the sit file determines the conflict and we should be okay. However, podzipping a track will create the different version message, so it's anybody's guess.
