can't get Thrustmaster to configure

Post by ds155 »

Hi I have a Thrustmaster FireStorm Dual Analog controller and can't get MTM2 to let me use buttons for the gas/brake. Can anyone here help me with this problem please?

I don't know specifically, but a good rule of thumb is to uninstall the profile and try it, being sure to calibrate it first in the windows control panel, and then in the game.

And if that doesn't work, here's Thrustmaster's toll free number for tech support: (877) 484-5536

In truth, I don't think the buttons can be set as brake/gas in MTM2......I believe it's a joystick/pad function only on hand controllers...

I won't bet my paycheck on it, but I think that was my experience long ago with a Microsoft Sidewinder 10-button controller (looks like a playstation controller).

damnit so I have to keep the default eh? Has anyone here managed to configure a Thrustmaster or similar controller to use the gas/brake with the buttons?

See cuz these controllers I have don't come with nor do they have software which you can setup profiles.

I feel ya, ds155, but we could go thru some serious gymnastics here about the problem you're having - hit or miss kind of thing. If you haven't tried giving them a call...it's free of charge, so why not give it a shot. :)
