Site Update...

I went through all of my trucks, and trimmed them all down some, and Podzipped them all. I ran a race with a full grid of some of my most laggy trucks, and I never got one glitch. So if you draggers want to use them in leagues, I don't think you'll have any problems now. If you do then, I'm sorry. Best I can do to make everyone happy. Enjoy!

It was a 2 day job to go thru them all, but I think it was worth it. I saved alot of space on my hard drive now. So if you have a favorite, and always thought it was laggy, go dl them again from my site. I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised.

The race I ran, I ran Michigan Ice Monster, BF8, 9, Awesome Kong II, Nitemare II, Carolina Crusher II, Desperado, and I was driving Godzilla, and I had no problems at all. I hope they work for everyone else as well.

The Replicas really needed to be put on a diet.

I can re-upload if you wish.

It's up to the users I guess. If they are having the "Lag Blues" they can get them from my place, if not they can get em here for the old ones.

I think it would be a good idea to have them all the same myself. If you want to clean out the truck section, I'll re-upload them all with the new versions. All the names are the same, zips, pods, etc are all the same, just the size is smaller now.

I noticed a difference in performance, some can't be helped, but it took care of alot of them. I shoulda did it long ago. I'll leave the ones at KC's alone. It's up to you for your collection here.

I don't mind the old versions, but I wouldn't want to lose the download counts if we didn't have to. I don't have a re-upload script in place but it wouldn't take long to rig something up if you're keen on it... I mean, if you have the time I have the willingness to make it happen. Let me work on it for a bit and I'll e-mail you a link to try out.

The dl counts should hopefully stay the same, can't they?

All the names are exactly the same, so can't we just slip these in, in place of the old ones without affecting the count?

I podzipped all the trucks I made for SLO, Cope has em, he just needs to get em posted for you guys.

Should I do it to ALL of the trucks? I mean SS's stuff? I only did mine, but I can do all of em and slam em all together into one pod.

It's up to you guys. You should notice a difference, it did with my own trucks. I run about 90% of my Reps in my game, and with a few of my higher vert jobs, it really made a difference.

I just started doing this all of a sudden, cuz I could never get OP's Podzip to work for me. But now I use CH_2005's Podzip Turbo, and it works great!
