Beeks Place down again

Post by rylasasin »

Read the subject. well its not down but it gives errors when I try to look for trucks. I get this:

"Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

/trucklot/trucksbyletter.asp, line 16
"
And yes I tried EVERY letter. I hope beek fixes it. I've asked other people and they have the same problem. etc etc etc.

It happens alot. Beek is very busy these days, and doesn't update the site anymore, so he probably doesn't realize it.

I'll let him know it's down again, next time I speak with him.

thanx. In the mean time... anyone know of any good places like beeks (Other than KC's, I hate how they only let you download one truck per day). where I can find a lot of strange, and Better-than-the-stocks trucks/tanks/cars/Dinghys/etc?

You can have a look right here at the MTMG. There are some great trucks here, but not quite as many as like say Beeks or KC's, but we're working on that.

Many of us have contributed to the truck section here, but it's still growing. Those are about your only choices.

ZOtm_BigDogge has some really great stuff at his site:
http://mtm2.com/~bigdogge/mainpage.htm

As well as my own site has some different stuff:

Drive 2 Survive has some great stuff:

SMP Creations is a excellent place to go:

Twisted Metal is awesome too:

A long gone but great truck maker, Vega's site is still up:

I almost forgot about Malibu350's site, he has alot of his personal faves there, and some great shots of them too, all listed by name:

A few older sites that are still up:
FCREDDOG's:

Great set of links Rep Fan, thanks.

I don't know how many people realize, but beek's IS here. It's a complicated story, but his truck files are here and his scripts are on virtualdada. I've asked him for his database in the event something like this happens, but no go yet.

Lastly, an expanded set of trucks can be found here.

http://malibu350.com/

One day we hope to have the truck page as expansive as the tracks.
