Rhino update

Post by Phineus »

There's going to be some changes on the server host, which may result in a bit of down time. Please bear with it. It should solve these slow speeds lately.

I had forgotten about the name secure screw up, what a bunch of BS. I sent them a nasty note that'll probably get me thrown out but man oh man take away something i've already paid for, bleep that.... those people don't deserve to be in business.

Because of the recent rhino server change made and my inability to reroute my forwarding to the new ip due to the incompetence of NAMESECURE.COM http://malibu350.com/ is no longer available... please use http://rhinoseros.com/~malibu350/ until I transfer to a new registrar.

If you're going to change, might I suggest http://mydomain.com/

Their new web design isn't netscape friendly (and it looks gawd awful) but they are generally helpful and they have an active forum. Of all the registrar's I've encountered, I like them the best so far.

[ edit 1 ] btw, looks like mtm2.com has kicked back in [:-)]

[ edit 2 ] If anybody notices the slightest bit of slowness, please let me know. This problem should never happen, and it was only after I got upset with the host that they did anything about it. We're up for renewal soon, and there's no way I want to commit to another year if these problems continue.

Geez, sorry to hear about all the stuff going on with your server host, but I gotta say it sounds all too familiar. I can't get in to make changes to the J-C list on the server at the moment, but I'm guessing that's temporary.

And yeah, if I notice any quirkyness I'll be sure to let ya know.

Sorry, Copey. Update the address to 69.41.170.240 and you should be fine.

Last night was absolute garbage. I found this evening spotty. Good at times, bad at times.
