I'm making a geodesic dome of 2x6es in my back yeard:

my friends and i are being so sloppy building it we are calling it geoguessic.

Pardon my iggnranse but what's geodesic, and what possessed you to do this? Whatever it is, looks like a fun igloo :-)

GEODESIC: "the shortest line on a surface between two points on it"

Geodesic Domes are composed of triangles arranged in various patterns....I THINK they were invented by Buckmeister Fuller (or he just made them popular....it's been a long time).

it was a long time ago. i wasnt there. lol. helps to keep old guys like dogge around :) hehe.
Bucky is a bit famous for borrowing ideas as his own. lol. I'm pretty sure no one else has found another inventor of bucky domes.

if u can think of anything to do with a large dome let me know.
