Did you uninstall, and then restart your puter?
If that doesn't help get on your messenger and I can send you the files it's missing if that is the case.
Uninstalling it should get rid of everything, it has for me before. I still use the old school way of making trucks myself, I still use the texture replacer, and all that stuff, so if you wanna try to work it out, I can try and pinpoint the problem.

Sounds like a buggered-up registry. I hate when that happens. I have tried utilities that remove such erroneous listings in the add/remove programs list, but they always seem to create more errors than they fix. Maybe that's just me.

Phineus, its the version that doesnt expire. You put a link for me a while back. 4.12 PSP.
Kevin, no error message. When I go to open it it just shows the silver box for starting the program for a half a second but not the black out line that is normally there, then disappears. Shows on the bottom of the page{tool bar area}but cant do any thing with it.

The program that normally opens bmp's etc. But I dont know what program that would be. To be honest I have NO clue how all that works.
I have gone back and unchecked ever thing, but the format of say a BMP does not look the same as normal, it does not open so you can see the image or picture. Its ask for PSP5 ONLY.

If you have Win XP, then the default was the WINDOWS PICTURE AND FAX VIEWER.
try this:
Open a folder and select FOLDER OPTIONS from the TOOLS menu...

Next, select the FILE TYPES tab and choose the extension...In this case, BMP...

Finally, click the CHANGE button and choose the utility you wish to be associated with that file type....

Repeat the above steps for all the file types you wish to change program associations with.
This has worked for me for everything except Adobe...for some reason, that program would not let me alter the association (or simply ignored what Windows was set to).
