Online probs
Right, earlier I had my first online session with Ashes & _uLtRaMaX_. Not a success. I got the track and we set up the session. MTM crashes to desktop. "Failed to launch game." Just now I tried again with Ashes after setting my PC to DMZ host and disabling the firewall. Same error. Anyone know how to fix this?

Can someone help him out so he can join games as well?
He can run the game offline, he can run the game online when he hosts. If he wants to join he gets an error and gets taken back to the desktop. It must have something to do with a firewall or ports for his router (he has a router).
Does anyone know what the problem could be and how it can be solved?

Setting the router to DMZ is a must. But the firewall is not completely disabled. I'm not even sure if you uninstall it that it'll reset things back like it wasn't even there. If you use something like linksys or d-link then you don't even need the firewall because they have one built in. But either way, the firewall is the problem. Turn off antivirus too.

i had that problem not long ago, i tryed everything from reinstalling game, zone files etc. Untill i bought a new Dlink router. problem was instantly solve. so my guess is it's in your router configuration.Never mind, I can race as long as I am host.

Well what is your network situation exactly? I guess it's like this now, please correct me
Computer 1 Computer 2?? Computer 3??
......-......................-...........................-

......................Router (brand??)
...........................|
......................Internet
You might have 2 firewalls, one on the router (on which you enabled dmz, but for what computer?), and the computer itself might have a firewall enabled itself as well.
