Hey everyone!
I am just back from Russia.
I found my love there :) Met her by accident, through the web site
spambot.com ! Never thought that will find my love through a
Russian dating agency.

I never ever had so much attention paid to me, as in Russia :)

There are robots that scan the net looking for phpBB forums, then post messages automatically if possible, or even join and put spam links in their profile. It's fully automated, and usually targeted to particular forum or guestbook software.

There are robots that scan the internet for forums...
Yep! That's why so many sites are starting to add sign-up tools like the one shown below......Bots can't read them, and so are prevented from automatically signing up.

No wonder you had to go all the way to Russia, no one here would put up with someone that doesn't listen.

I just have to force registration. And if that don't work, force registration with email confirmation. But I don't want to do that unless there's really no alternative. So, when a spammer comes in we just delete it right away or play with the link ;-)

Lol, I STILL watch Ren & Stimpy, I love that show.

I kinda enjoy the spam once in awhile, we all get to post our wittiest comments, makes it fun to hammer on these idiots, even though I know they'll never come back to read it, it's fun for us.

Some of the movie stars appear to have been done with photo scans using a program of some sort, rather than done manually like the other artworks. Check out Marylin Monroe.
