i was wondering if this site is ever going to have an image upload to accompany file uploads, so the mods dont have to put an image next to every single track or truck.

Trucks already have a image upload. Tracks do not and was done deliberately so that we would always check the content of track zip files. We don't want viruses spread through our site, and this is not a place to disguise mp3s or program files as tracks. We check everything, and so doing a pic is no big deal - remember, we contributed a great deal to the development of trackview... so it was made the way we needed. And after all, checking files is just part of the job of running a site. We know that, and don't gripe about it. It's no big deal.

That's leaves only a few notes.

Truck pics must be jpg format and no larger than 100k or they are rejected by the script - and the script checks the file type, not just the extension so renamed bmp's don't work. It must be a valid jpg file.

If you have a track shot you want for your track, it must be 640x480 and you can send it to me or mal. It's no trouble to add it after you upload the track. If you don't mind, we don't mind.

If you look at the download pages, you will see that just about everything has a pic already. Doing extras as new things are made is small potatoes. Still, if you have anything specific in mind, let us know. There's nothing easier, and nobody more flexible.

yea, on first 2 uploaded tracks, i included the picture in the zip. that works too, i guess.
