Netscape 7.2 links

Post by Rep Fan »

Mal, Phin, I know you guys use Netscape, or anyone else...

On yours, is there a way that you can make links that you have clicked on, change colors, so that way you know which ones you've already clicked, like Internet Exploder?

I'm tired of clicking the same things over and over, cuz I don't know where I'm at. I went into the Preferences, and there is a Font section that lets you change colors, but it doesn't do anything. It lets you change the text, and background of the webpage you're on. But this thing with the links is getting on my last nerve.

Any ideas?

In preferences > appearance you can set the colors you want and you can allow the web page to use your colors or use it's own. A lot of times, the problem is not you it's the web page. If you go to the main mtm bbs, you should see the links as yellow and orange. Where as if you go to the download pages, the colors are constant (or they better be, lol). On the forum, the icons beside the posts should indicate if they are new or old. Depends on the site and the page. I get the same thing with IE.

In prefs > navigator I set the history to six days only.

If you use ns for email, make sure you turn off scripting in emails. (prefs > advanced > uncheck mail & newsgroups)
