Off line notes

Some of you may have noticed that we went down for a few hours early this morning. This was because I shut the server down while I figured out how to fend off a dos attack. I hope to have the problem solved but should there be a recurrence, please bear with me as I do whatever is necessary to keep things operational... even if that means temporary shutdowns.

I don't know why those script kiddies won't leave people alone and find something better to do with their time.

I noticed that last night, and immediately thought of those attacks on phpBB forums, since all I saw was....

Glad to see it wasn't anything like that...
