Not one of my usual offerings...

This is the road grader track model found on the MTM1 track, "Crazier 8" by TRI. When I saw it, I KNEW I had to make it into a drivable machine. I don't know if it was converted before, but it is now.

The tires are modified MTM2 models, with modified versions of the original MTM1 tire textures. The body model and it's textures are stock, except for it being resized from 38 to 24 feet in length, and lowered. Headlights are functional.

The truck is podded in MTM1 format, so no pesky shock struts or axlebars are visible, but It still is fully functional in MTM2.

Those things back then had the engine way in the back under that rear hump... this thing is just dying for black with flames, a big blower motor back there, some custom wheels...

Very cool. I have to admit, when I first ran that track, I had the same idea, just never did, glad we share the same thoughts, lol.

Interesting. All the models I have ever seen had the engine in front. Never saw a rear engine version myself.

I HAVE heard of twin engine models that have powerplants in both the front and back (push-pull scrapers), but have never seen one....Maybe that's what you saw.

I did mislabel my vehicle though. These are actually called "Scrapers", or sometimes "Earth Movers".








THIS is a true road grader...Guess I was more sleepy then I thought last night when I named it. Ah well...I don't think anyone will mind.

Make one heck of a monster truck, eh? I once saw a parked car that had accidentally been crushed by one, and I swear it wasn't any taller than 6-8 inches! Bigfoot, eat yer heart out!

They are called tandem scrapers

you could make that! hehe... just get the bin model from mal's mtm2 version of evo2's "Construction Junction". i believe he named it "Construction Zone". the model looks JUST like that picture
