A little late...
A little late...
...but I have finally updated my web site with a bit of information.
Performance Auto Racing
I have also set up an ASPFreeServer account and will be uploading a new PHPBB forum when I get the time.
What do you think?

Took a long long time on dial-up.
Near as I can tell, the jpeg graphics are just renamed bmp files or zero-compressed jpeg files, rather than true compressed jpegs.
I thnink it would be faster if the graphics on the page were saved as GIFs.

You have all the files cached on your machine. If you delete your temporary internet files and reboot, then you would get the full effect of a new visitor. if I visit any web page for the first time that features a lot of graphics, it loads slower than it does on the second visit after my computer has cached the graphics.
I recently deleted my temp internet files so I tried your site again and it's still slow, taking over 2 minutes at 56k for every thing to appear.
I checked soome samples. Just the word PREVIEW in the left-side menu was a 20Kb graphic. I loaded it in my paint program and saved it as a jpeg with only 10% compression and it came out at less than 4 Kb (less than one- fifth the original filesize.) Saving it as a GIF image reduced it even smaller, to 3.5 Kb.
Redoing the page graphics as Gifs would be a good call.

Okay, I'm sorry about double posting, but I just had to tell you this...
I just used Windows Explorer to view all the image files seen on most of my pages, and found that they came, in total, to 1.9 megabytes! Yikes!
Now, although my new site will take less time to load, it will, of course, take a bit of extra time for the script execution (PHP on my new AspFreeServer). But regardless, I checked the image files for the new one, which included some basic things for panels, and found that it is 1.9 megs no longer. It is now - I am still amazed - 288 kilobytes. I changed 'em to indexed color GIF and can't believe what a difference it makes. Thanks for pointing that out, BigDOGGe!
