Tranny problem part 2

has anyone had this problem?

i run a leaf spring setup on an old school track that i'm racing in a league next week (hard, 900, deep), and my top speed is like 45 mph in 3rd gear. okay, so i watch my runs on replay, and resume racing my gear ratios are way up, like around 1500, and my suspension's way softer, but i didn't even leave the race to change anything.

are you running on rookie or intermediate difficulty? also, the replay usually sets it to pro, 600 and soft for some reason when you exit.

i'm running rookie because that's the league rules for old school races.
