Windows Movie Maker ver. 1.0.1376.0 help

I am having trouble making my movie using windows movie maker ver 1.0.1376.0 Everytime I got to save the movie the box saying creating movie comes up and then after that it freezes. Dose anyone have any idea why it dose this and what can be done to fix it. All the web sites i have checkedout are for windows movie maker 2 and not for my version.

I have run into this problem before. It happened to me if there was a bad video file. So what I did was remove each video 1 at a time and try saving the movie. I dont know why some files play fine but if you try and add them to your own movie it freezes up when its trying to save. There may be another answer to this problem but thats how I figured it out.

Thats interesting. I tried it a few more times today without removing clips at a time and the last try worked but next time that happens I will definatly try your suggestion.
