It keeps working, don't worry about it.

Howdy. If you own a legal copy of Photoshop 7 then you should learn to use it. Seriously. It will do everything you could want.

As for the ancient PSP 4.12, folks seem to like it because it never stops functioning, despite the alert you're seeing.

Thanks for the PSP tip. I just figured it ran out eventually.

As for the photoshop, I have been doing some stuff in it, saving it, and then opening it up in PSP so that I can reduce the colors.

Heya Scott. I use Paint Shop Pro 6, I've never used Photoshop, but it seems that what you want to look into may be in the 'Image' menu. Something like the following:

image >> mode>> Indexed Color
image >> mode>> RGB

RGB mode indicates an image is 24-bit (the usual mode for all high end editing procedures)

Indexed Color mode indicates an image is 8-bit, or 256 colors - the native format for our texture RAWs.

I suppose that clicking those menu options will convert your images back and forth bewteen the different color depths, there are proabably some options available in the dialog boxes too but as I say I don't know PS at all.

And for the record: welcome back to the game

Thanks, I never go too far... but this is probably the most involved I've been into it now that I actually understand the truck/track editing. :D
