checkpoints

Post by levi »

when you make a checkpoint are the trucks the only thing that goes through them that will make it count or can you put it on say the train track and make a train go through the checkpoints and make it count the checkpoints that way or does it only work for the trucks

Trucks only, as far as I've ever seen.

I have a checkpointproblem I can't figure out. I'm not using a checkpointmodel but purple boxes. They're all set to checkpoint, sequencenumbers are correct (cp1=0 and the finish/start is last in line) and the trucks definitely go through them and yet none of them work. What am I not seeing here?

Object box checkpoints will only register if you drive through the southern most wall and out the northface.

To orientate yourself in Traxx hit the 'Home' key, this will set the mini-map pointer due north... now create and object box in front of you... the wall you are looking at is the wall you must drive through in order for it to register your truck... if it's facing the wrong way just rotate the box to the proper direction to match your road so you drive through that southface.

I'm glad that you are using object boxes for cp's since they are so much more precise than those ckboxes. :) nice.

You can adjust the sizes but that's generally the way the box-as-checkpoint works. Then rotate it so it trips.
