June MTM2 Results

Post by ShadowPrincess »

June has been and gone, 15 rumbles and 5 Race tournaments have been held by myself, which included, two 'special' tournaments.
First was a 3 day rumble with a total of 26 rumblers enjoying one or more of these new tracks; "Into The Renaissance".

The second was a racing one, the "AXE" Month in which 25 racers participated over the 5 weeks of racing. Click to view results of those special tournaments.

5 RNR tournaments were also held by BurninDirt & GuyWood.

They have been great to host, hope to ee you all again this month.

I saw that i'd placed second overall a couple days ago and was shocked because I hadn't been keeping track of any numbers. Are you sure that's right? Phin didn't add those scores up did he, cuz if he did I don't trust his math. lol

All I can say is wow, and what a blast it was going twenty+ rounds on some of the best all around classic AXE tracks with a bunch of class-act competitors in each and every one of 'em.

This's very nicely done...

... Thank you and my apologies for missing the presentation, had I known there was going to be one I would have made the time to be there but was unaware.

For those interested in a little AXE racing/tourney nostalgia...

... that's a screenshot from an old AXE tourney tally page, it was 1999 or 2000 and I wish now that I hadn't cropped the page down so much because there were at least another 30 names below the 26 shown. Man, you talk abount intense, those guys were insane mtmr's, each and every one.

Yvw glad you liked your award, and No Phin did not do the math LOL, I did :)

If you click on the world globe top left of the page it will take you to the points for each person that raced those 4 weeks of the AXE month.

Presentations I always hold the week after the last week of racing of special events to give myself time to finish off the graphic awards. I usually send out an email usually to all racers to remind them of it, my apologies if I slipped up this time. I must check to make sure you are on the mailing list.

A nice old screen shot you saved there and some of those raceers still around which is nice to see. :)

I'm on the mailing list and i'm sure that I read it but the event just didn't register on to my to do list.

ps, It's a good thing Fila was afraid to run Dog Country or he'd of knocked me out of contention. :)

Congrats to all the winners, and SP . . . even though I don't have time to participate, I sincerely admire the dedication you've exhibited with respect to sustaining the fun and interest in this game for so many players. :)

Yeah, I remember seeing that shot before, Mal. Man, that's going back a ways. :)

I'd say Mal is overdue for a 1st place finish [:-)]

Congratulations man, and to everyone else who was racing, keeping it alive so people can have fun every weekend. SP, amazing hosting every tourney and this game would be half way dead and gone if it weren't for you. So thank you :D

Yeah, maybe SP - we'll see. I did do an RnR tourney a while back, but had to leave due to work. Was fun while it lasted though! ;)

You are very good, Cope, when we do the fun Friday night TeamSLO RnR events.

In a Tournament, when it is crunch time and you are fighting for a spot on the podium, it makes it even more exhilarating!

(ok, that may be an over-sell, but you get the point.... lol) 8)
