Alright so pardon my ignorance but...

Post by Surelog »

I'm new to the forums. I did a wiki search for one of my child hood favorite games... MTM, the first game I ever played online back during Zone days. Anyway, people are still playing this? Is this for real?

I was just wondering, what keeps you guys playing MTM? Should I go out and buy this game? or try and find a place to buy it? I was like 10 years old when I first started playing MTM, and Fury 3 on Zone and where do you guys play now?

Hi Surelog! Welcome to MTM2.com. Yes, this is for real, MTM2 is our hobby! What has kept us on it for 10 years now is just the fact it's such an excellent game to play, it's unique in the way that you race monster trucks instead of, say, BTCC cars, and it's highly moddable. Do some reading up on it and make some trucks/tracks! =) Again, welcome.

what can I say? mtm2 is our fav game and we really bored? lol

w/e its still fun, fo rme only in small doses though, but come to ren games and have a few matches, check out if you still got it. of the maybe 40 of us left, we all the high skill people. and its a tightly nit community, but thats not to say you can't join in. Pretty much all the hackers and anouying people have left with zone. The best MTM2 years are happening right now.

if you need the game, search this forum, phine has posted the link many times. I got my own too if you have trouble with his (but I doubt it).

Have fun and welcome back ^_^

Hey thanks for the warm welcome guys. yeah like Cope said I'm getting set up. I'm really excited an honestly this wheel I'm bidding on can't get here soon enough. Back in the day I use to race with just a gamepad. right now I have my Xbox 360 controller, but many people say that the wheel helps a lot so I'm eager to get it.

Also back in the day everyone played as rookie, hardly anyone played pro, so that's something else I'm getting use to.

I got the map editor, it too has come a LONG way since the days of the old dos program I used long ago to make maps when I was a kid.
