The only thing I was able to locate was that it might be a promotional copy released in India. I found an eBay listing that shows that same cover from an Indian retailer.
nah, it is not a pirated version. Ubisoft is the publisher. I own a original copy of Age of Empires, and it has the microsoft logo, ensemble studios logo and the ubisoft logo. This copy of AoE is a promo, that did come with the "El Mercurio" newspaper + $3000CLP ($6 bucks i guess) In foreign countries, there's differents publishers. In Chile, sometimes Ubisoft publish Microsoft's games
Just like its predecessor, it contains 2 inaccessible trucks, Power Wheels Bigfoot and "Chuck's Car" (a Chevrolet Camaro). The first truck's intended method for unlocking is currently unknown, but the second was intended to be unlocked by typing in "CHUCK" in a race. The game still displays this message when typed: "Restart the game to drive Chuck's Car." However, if one restarts the game, it isn't there. Both trucks are widely dismissed in the game's community as removed or unfinished, or otherwise completely inaccessible.

The cover art in the top post is the UK cover art for Thunder Truck Rally (called Monster Trucks in UK).
Thunder Truck Rally was developed Reflections and published by Psygnosis, i don't think Microsoft or Ubisoft had anything to do with that game, and as far as i know Ubisoft has nothing to do with MTM.

dude, a LONG LONG time ago, my friend had mtm2 and he drove chuck's car.
i checked his version of mtm2 and it was later than mine.
mine is 1.0.2 and his was 1.0.6
wierd.
i also wonder how we know it was power wheels if no one ever unlocked it. were any of you guyz beta testers for mtm2?

A lot of us thought that all MTM1 trucks would be remade in MTM2, and since Power Wheels was the only one missing, we thought it would be unlockable.
Since we're on the subject, on the inside of the booklet that comes with the game it shows a truck in it that i'm assuming is the remade version of the patriot from MTM1. Is that unlockable, or even in the game, because the only thing i've found to unlock is torture pit?
