Hello to OG MTM/MTM2 peoples

Some reason I started thinking about MTM/MTM2 and all the great memories. I'm surprised to see so many old faces!! Phineus, Malibu, Alpine.

I lost contact with pretty much everybody after Matagasco and I started playing EverQuest and got addicted. Lost contact with Matagasco along time ago unfortunately. I did catch up with justmight a few years ago. Never did get to meet him when I lived in San Diego, although he did invite me over to his house hehe

It's funny to go back and look at all the (crappy) tracks I made, and laugh at the trucks and such as well. MTM was my first pc game I ever played online, and the MTM community back then on the zone was pure awesome-ness. I don't think I've ever come across a community that was that open, accepting, and fun. I was just a teenager back then, and people took so much time with me to teach me how to play the game, how to create content.

Hey hey. JustMight still comes around from time to time, as does Maniac. Garret stopped in a couple months ago too. Haven't seen GyverX or Sleeper for a while though, and haven't heard from Toxin in forever. Lord Cap and Sir James stop in too. Now there's some old names, eh?

btw, Skata still plays EQ2 but she's moved on up to Oregon.

Those are definitely old names for sure!

I've talked to Skata via ICQ once or twice in the past few years on ICQ when I've logged on there. That's right, Matagasco and I stole a few people from MTM community for EQ. Skata, GeneralLee, Insane1, and I know there were some others that joined us. We all played together for about 2 years, and then we all moved on to other MMOG's up until about 2004 when life took over game time for myself.

I don't get much time to game anymore unfortunately. I heard MTM2 was abandonware now though?

Pretty much. Ten years old and they stopped hosting it at the zone.

Oh, and don't know if you've heard or not, but Guitar Bill died a few years back.

Anyway, for those who don't know, Chucklez gave server space to GyverX and myself for the very first place ever to host the mtmg.
