Color Problems

I've just finished a new truck called Tennessee Titan. The truck is mostly blue with silver and red. For some reason, the blue on the truck shows up as either gray or dark green and won't show up as the right color. I want to upload the truck, but I want to fix this first. Does anyone know anything that can help me?

Did you increase color depth to 16 million colors prior to painting then decrease to 256 colors afterwards?

This is probably the number one problem in our game. What happens is that any given track is limited to use 256 colors. The game will match the colors in your truck to the nearest color available in the track. But! If there is no close match then the truck comes out looking the wrong color.

If you try a different track you will see your truck look different colors. Test it out. Try your truck on Crazy 98, Exavation, Sidewinder and Voodoo Island. I think you'll find your truck color changes on each one.

...Thus using colours close as possible to pure colours, FF0000, FFFF00, FFFFFF, FF00FF, 00FFFF, 00FF00, 000000, will give you the most consistant results.
