Don't think nascar is on a team TlathamXmahtalT.

Usually what happens in tournaments is, at times a gamer comes in after the tournament starts, it could be a teams event so they can't just join if they don't have a partner. So they may decide to sit as a 'fill in'. If someone leaves early the 'fill in' can take the place of the gamer who had to leave and in that case you will get like what you see in the screen shot, 3 names on a placing.

You don't have to be on a team to play in a tournament and teams don't have to be partnered together to play.

Evereyone is welcome and anyone can partner with anyone

yea jam asked me if i wanted to play so i said yes then i went in the room the numbers were uneven so i was on a team by myself then oldbackhand dropped out and i became his fill in.
