McAfee problems

Hey all, I need some help with McAfee, if anyone has any information then post it, anyways here's the deal.

Before I had McAfee, I had Norton. Everything ran fine. AIM worked, I could host, run media files. We had to switch from Norton to McAfee a few weeks ago and once we did so, I could not host. Nor run AIM Or any media files. Since then (JerOutlaw) helped me out with the hosting issue (yay!) but I still can not run AIM 6, I can run the old AIM versions for whatever reason but not the newer ones anymore. I also still can not run media files (music, videos, etc).

I have been into the security center in McAfee and tried approving a few things here an there. Even turning off the program for 15 mins and nothing changes so im not sure what they deal could be. Anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried uninstalling mcaphee to see if everything is suddenly resolved, because if the problem persists, try a system restore point.

If you don't have a restore point, try uninstalling service pack 3, which will force a restore on your system, back to when you installed SP3.
