I'm wondering how I can access all of the downloaded tracks and trucks I have from this website?
I have them added into the directory through Podini but can't retrieve them from the menu.
I'm new to the game, starting 2 days ago, but I would like to get into it as much as I can!
Thanks for the help!
Downloaded tracks question
Re: Downloaded tracks question
Will it not work if I downloaded the game from MTM2.com?
Re: Downloaded tracks question
Ignore the installation part. Strictly talking about following the guide for the add-on track or truck section. When it says "into your "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Monster Truck Madness 2\" of course it means for you to copy the files to wherever you installed MTM2 on your computer.
The mtm download from mtm2.com download is from a retail CD.

Re: Downloaded tracks question
In short:
- Install MTM2 to wherever you want.
- Download and apply the mtm2 patch (crucial)
- Download trucks and tracks to a temporary folder, let's say MTM2 Downloads folder.
- Unzip the trucks and tracks from the temporary folder (the zip archives) into where you installed MTM2 (so that the final files are the .pod files into your monster truck madness 2 installation folder)
- Do the same for podit or cowpod (both work, cowpod has a few more gadgets to it, downloadable from the main site, next to the mtm2 download)
- Follow what the guide says. If the tracks do not show up in the right side of the window then it means they are not in the MTM2 folder.
If you keep the tracks and trucks in the main mtm2 folder it's easier to mount them without making mistakes, otherwise you have to manually edit the pod.ini in order to teach the game where all the files are.
