Upload Issues

Post by Jet »

Hey guys just trying to upload my latest truck and have run into some problems. Lately the uploader won't let me add an image to my upload but will upload fine without one. Today it won't work at all even without one attached. It says "Either the file types are wrong or the size is too big." But it's not too big and it's how I've always done it so just not sure where to go from here lol

Hmmm. Nothing changed on the server as far as coding goes.

The zip file has to be under 6mb and the picture has to be jpg format and under 100kb. If it's .png, even if it is under 100kb it won't work. Likewise if it's jpg but over 100kb it won't work.

I just tried uploading a test file with a 3mb truck zip file and a 80kb jpg file and it worked.

Btw I should get around to fixing this but I've been lazy about it. If the picture file has spaces it won't show. It will upload correctly and everything but it won't show until I remove the spaces. It's not the case for the truck files, only the pictures. So if you don't want to wait around for me to fix this when you upload pictures make sure there are no spaces.

Fixed the aforementioned picture issue.

Also the uploader should give more specific details from now on whenever it fails (it will point out whether it's the image or the archive and whether it's wrong type or wrong size).
