Being a friend I think I can say this...
Alright... Fila... i know you can do so much better then this... First off it looks like random terrein with textures... no custom terrein or anything... Also you need treees, cows, everything..
Next... the water is deeper than a monkey's uncle... make it more shallow... so you can see the doors of your truck in outside of the water..
Textures... my most looked at thing.. you have 2 sets made of two textures...
they dont match up... and they are colored funny, and don't look so real... i suggest getting some base textures from the mtmg and touching them up, or working on some new ones... doesn't take so long.
That's all i can really say.. work work work! :] okie

I kind of agree with Rudee here for the most part,
the textures are ok, they may not look the most realistic but then alot of tracks dont, many many many fun tracks have wierd, odd, ugly, or just plain missaligned stock textures but that can be ignored if it has a good fun challenging course which should be the basis for any track,... textures, models, and special effects to me are secondary or iceing on the cake so to speak but not critical...
which brings me to why i see something lacking here in "the return of DMS" the terrain just seems well,, too random and lackadaisical hurried and unfinished for a track maker such as you Fila the more time you spend tweaking it the better it will become and i am afraid there will be a lot of dissapointed downloaders in its present state especially for a 3 meg d/l...

K, the water will be more shallow, but grr, my point was for u to take the puter route, and NOT the water route (k, there where the cp in water is, i will fixed that, it will be more shallow).
K, those 2 songs are going to go on a choo choo. So, the file size will be cut down to around 200-300kb.
I like the terrain how it is now, what should i do more about it. (p.s. i worked almost 1 hour on this freakin terrain, cuz i don't generate it from traxx u know, so it comes out awfull (undrivable) so i need to smooch (smooth) it until i drop.)

these are just my own opinions and not some track making law that has to be adhered to.... its just that i see a lot of potential here with this track.... but the bottom line is make it the way YOU would like it to be i cannot and will not do that.
the terrain? over all it looks great its just that the road textures appear painted on the hillsides, maybe just push down the terrain directly under the road textures so it gives the appearance of being cut into and not tattoo'd onto the grassy hills, again this is just my own personal opinion dont let me or anyone else tell you how you should make your tracks that would destroy your own personal creativity, but do lend an ear to tips now and then....

K, to use my imagination. Hmm, tried that in, let's see, DMS Mountain Rally (whoa, 2nd worst track of mine, but really bad, no kidding, and also tried when i started Return Of DMS, whoa, looked ugly).

K poeple. After reading the 2nd time all the topics and when i went to bed, i put my imagination to work. Tried hard, and came up with an idea (that i am able to make it work) that when i imagined how it would look like in MTM2, i just said OH MY GOD.
So, if u guys have patience, in about a week, i should release another beta of this track (as my idea really needs lot of hard work), so, if i work everyday, in about a week should be ready. So, wish me luck guys, pls

Completely off-topic here... but does anyone know anything about ferrets? Believe it or not I had one walk into the house 2 nights ago and it's made itself at home. It was covered in fleas and pretty scraggy looking, but she's (pretty sure it's a female) had a bath and been fed and given a safe place to sleep. Seems quite affectionate and tame so I'm pretty sure it's somebody's missing pet but the kids asked all around the neighborhood and nobody claimed it or knew anyone who was missing a ferret. So I guess I'm stuck with a new animal (we already got a Rotwieler, a cockatoo, 2 Amazon parrots, a retarded fat cat, a 4 foot long Iguana, and a rat) oh, and another cat who just eats here. So ferret-type care advice will be appreciated.

a co-worker of mine had a ferret for a few years they seem to be just like a puppy that never grows up, it was very friendly, intellegent and was real good around small children but was constantly chewing everything up in sight so she finally got rid of it for that reason, it just never seemed to grow out of that teething stage, i'm sure they all have different personalities so perhaps yours is not a shoe disposal...
you can just feed them cat food you can also find ferret food in most pet stores...
although not as potent as a skunk they also spray their "scent" but can be de-scented (not sure what the vet charges tho)
they are illegal in california, only because they are afraid that if let loose they would disrupt the the native wildlife..

"I smoothed the terrain for an hour until i dropped."
Well Fila, I've been working on the terrain for the track I'm working on for about 4 months. Completely hand carved, mostly single-point editing. I still haven't dropped =)
