Re: MTM1 Computer Opponents
When I was getting slapped like that at the Zone was because I was on a slow PC on 33k baud dial-up and the other user I was rumbling with was on DSL or cable. I couldn't budge him, but I would take mystery hits because of and sent flying over the mountain ridge over and over. The difference in ...

Re: New project...Mickey Thompson Stadium Off-Road trucks
For low pixel count modeling, that's very impressive. Kudos.
If you map some shaded texture on the rear cage textures you can give it a 3D look:

What I would do was map one very short piece of "tubing", duplicate and "stretch" to needed length and then re-use it ...

Re: BinEdit Keeps Crashing When Replacing Textures.
So I've tried doing it with both compatibility mode and run as admin ticked on, and it's still keeps crashing when trying to replace a texture. I'm afraid I can't texture anything without the irritating crashes.
The only thing that comes to mind would be the size of the textures?

Re: Working track lights
I checked the MTMG site for light post models to give them a look over, but the page is gone. I had to use the Wayback archive site to find an intact copy of the page. The model download links appear to still be viable.

Re: Another way to get .SIT files
If you do not specify a folder to "unpack" the files into, then it will place them in the same folder as the .POD file.

The suggestion to convert to a lossless format like .BMP 24-bit, edit and then convert back sounds like a good one.

Forgot I even had the other account. I haven't gone by "ZO" (Zone Outkasts) in ages. That was my old "Microsoft - The Zone" gaming team back at the beginning of the millennia. I haven't heard from ZO_Play, ZO_Hemi427 or any of the other guys in ages.

It's been a LONNNNG time, and I was never a track maker. But I believe I recall that the invisible ramps had to be lowered. I do not recall how the height of the trucks were lowered in the track. I think Phineus made a convertor for stock tracks.

Re: Greetings all.
I did 56 EVO2 trucks, with a number of them monsters. This is still my favorite custom monster truck:

But I did do some fairly accurate replicas too, like these:

My first visits to KC's started in 2001, when it looked like this (the road signs are the links to files): https://web.archive.org/web/20010413223048if_/http://vales.com:80/mtm/
