Funny thing is.... Safari has all that as well. And It doesn't require a plug-in.

so does Avant, 3 layers infact, web url blocking on pages, blocking based on common content (such as "advertisement") and popup blocking.
So does opera, heck, so does IE7 and 8 lol. All without plugins, firefox only one that needs a plugin it seems.

IE7 has never had a built in ad blocker, never. and im not talkin about popup blocking or host blocking

im counting anti fishing filters, third party site filters, etc. as ad blocking.

ad blocking is pretty vague, I could hold up a piece of paper infront of an ad on my monitor and call it ad blocking.
but the fact that you thought those things only existed for firefox was just frightning.

Pshh, FireFox is the way to go. When I first heard about Safari, they said it was slow, but the interface looked awesome. I've never tried Safari, but I also never believe what I hear unless I have proof. Internet Explorer is fast, but it sometimes times out on certain web pages. That's the only 3 I've heard of, and I have FireFox.

I suggest a site more reliable, can't think of one, but there must be something out there.

The new IE8 slowed my machine down entirely. And my IE7 having random freezing issues on web pages. So i got irritated and downloaded Orca Browser. I haven't gone back. It's way better!

Non-mainstream browsers FTW!
